More Information

If you don't understand, let me explain. What's the story with Windows? a lot of random companies are
making computers and then they install windows on them.

Results?

unstable systems and one company controlling the rest.

If windows dies (crazy thought), all companies ,witch were using windows as their os for their computers,
are going to  have a big problem.

More and more machines are made using the same os, an easy target for
hackers to reach.

Sounds familiar? More than 30 mobile phones, today, are running the Android os. When Android becomes the most
used smartphone os, and it's no as far as you think, hackers ( people who make viruses in general) are going to
develop viruses, spyware and much more just for the Android os. Hmmm, it doesn't sound good. Let's not
forget that we are talking about phones... your personal data won't be personal anymore. so, an anti virus  program
will be necessary, killing your RAM, CPU and battery.

Today, Android is great, but what about 3 years later...

*facepalm*
Considering Windows isn't the unstable unusable mess you claim it to be, I think that is kind of a complement even if you didn't intend it as one.

FYI I don't even have any virus protection on my Windows 7 machine (aside from the default windows defender stuff), and I have yet to have a problem with the OS. I don't go to websites that I shouldn't go to, and I don't download every little thing I find without knowing its safe first.. never had a problem. And as far as hackers go, you are dead wrong, OS X is way less secure than windows, ask anyone.
Os x is less secure than windows? You are joking right?
There is nothing inherently more secure about Macs, in fact they're probably a little easier to break into, but really they are protected for the moment by their limited market share. -- Charlie Miller, ISE security researcher
And what does Os x has to do with anything!?
No it is absolutely not a joke, I don't understand what makes a person like you, how you can like a company/product so much that you will believe they are better in every way even when certain things have been proven untrue. And it has everything to do with refute your ridiculous claims.
I thought that Windows Mobile was the "Windows" of mobile phones?....lol
I think his argument is sound, but not the way he put it across. Android now is like Windows was in the 90's. A bunch of different system vendors installing it with their own custom software like interfaces and stuff to differenciate it from the competitors offering. Android is just like that right now. It's made by one company and everyone who uses it put's their own little spin on it and as a result you don't get the product the original creator intended you to get.

I'm sure Microsoft aren't happy with many of the things their hardware partners do to Windows machines, like all the crapware and stuff, which is why if you get a PC from the Microsoft Store they're "virgin", they don't come with any crap/bloatware, but a minimal amount of software, being Windows itself, Live Essentials and an Office trial. This is how Microsoft intend things to be, but because they simply licence the software to people to put on their machines and sell, they lose control over what goes on them.

Android is just like that now. Google make it, they let anybody who wants to use it use it, and those companies modify it to fit their own devices or branding, or to just simply be different so people chose their device over someone elses. You can be pretty sure Google didn't intend for it to be used or abused as it has been by some, and I think that's his argument.
How did you get that from what he said? That's nothing like what he said.
he's basically comparing all the bloatware that companies like hp and toshiba put on there windows machines to the little ui tweaks that companies do with android. For example, the HP Care and Toshiba network maintenance crap that comes pre-installed on there laptops aren't actually part of the windows os as it was originally intended, where as Swype for example wasn't originally part of Android, it was added by another company. Max's example is actually kind of relevant and makes a good point.
Oh I agree with his statement, it makes sense, I'm just saying that is nothing like A.V. said.
Android already has market share....wake up....its not the fault of Windows that made it have market share its the MIGHTY BLUE APPLES FAULT! Same here! The mighty blue apple says this and that and no one buys it that can get something else easier....NO Verizion for your iphone OK ANDROID.....no other carriers but AT&T ok ANDROID! CATCH MY DRIFT A BIT? The MIGHTY BLUE APPLE has once again castrated itself from being in the bigger picture! Windows can not die it the most sold OS. How could it die?
