Hello.I keep getting the blue screen of death at random times.
My operating system is windows 7 and i did a clean installation.
I have had multiple errors.I have a NTFS.sys error
and stop 0x000008 error at random times.
My pc sometimes randomly restart.
I know its not a virus because i scanned the hard drive and i formatted my hard drive and still got the same errors after.

I have had some problems with the computer randomly restarting, and the issue was the battery. But if you did a clean installation, then it my be something that is in the system memory that is causing it to crash, corrupted files or corrupted bios maybe.

Permalink Reply by Ryan Cruey on March 7, 2012 at 6:35am Alright. I did some research for you and found this to be the problem, and the solution to fix it.
"This problem may occur if there is a conflict between Windows XP SP1 and the display adapter drivers that are currently installed."
Meaning your drivers are newer than the software itself, causing an error to generate and make it crash.
The solution is
To resolve this problem, start your computer in Safe mode, remove the display adapter, rename the .inf files that are associated with the display adapter drivers, restart your computer in Normal mode, and then update your display adapter drivers. The following steps describe this procedure in more detail:
Permalink Reply by SassySweetBren on January 4, 2013 at 1:32am Take you Cmos battery out and push down the the power button for 60 second. That will set the BIOS back to default. That is just one thing you can do.
After doing that, do a clean install. If you get the blue screen of death after that, your disk could be faulty.
It could be scratched. This is just the first thing to do. Go to crucial and make sure you are using the correct ram. These are just a few simple things to try first. Good luck.
