IDK what happened.  I leave for a few months and the same 3 discussions are still featured.  This place is dead.  It makes me sad. Remember when the first page was full of discussions that had replies less than 5 minutes old.

I agree but I think it's based on Ning and I guess that makes it hard to do? I'd love it is chris fixed it up tho would attract more people.
Imo its really messy and un-organized... I acutally use the mobile version all the time at

It does need a lot of work and he needs to outsource interns/coders who are willing to help and are trustworthy. Even if he didn't really move features around, the overall design is dead. Needs a hit of CSS/3 and new Video player design.

Yeah I've been gone for awhile too. Not really because of a lack of interest, but more because I became really busy and then moved across the country. Damn I was hoping to come back and see the geeks I knew and loved. :(

I took a break but still came in from time to time and I can tell y'all what happened.  There were so many crackpots coming in here spamming the place that the people in charge made it private.  Anyone wanting to join has to be approved.

 

How can a site like this run when approval is needed?  It can't and it won't.  This place might as well close the close the doors and hang out a sign that says..."This once was a great place but it is DEAD now."

If there is a really bad virus on a computer can u get rid of it by replacing the hard drive and memory? I know it doesn't pertain to this topic but I really need help.

If someone says immediately yes, would be somewhat wrong. Some viruses can install to your Mobo in the way of Flash Memory and some even sneaky enough to hang out in RAM. Yes, it is possible but not always likely. Do you know for sure you suffer from a virus or just a bunch?
