More Information

Ok, so I have been thinking about selling my Xbox 360 because I hardly ever use it. I've had it for less than a year and I've played probably a total of 10 times. So I have some used items and some unused/unopened items. i did research on current costs of everything and the total came up to about $550, which I thought was a lot. Here is a list of what I have:

Xbox 360 game consoloe (hardly used)
2 wireless controllers (1 unopened)
Headset
Xbox 360 wireless adapter (new sells for $99)
Xbox 360 play & charge kit (unopened)
Games: GTA 4 (unopened), Lost Via Domus (unopened), Halo 3, Tetris Evolution, Sonic the Hedgehog, and Marve Ultimate Alliance

How much would you pay for all of those things? Since I am so unsure about whether I def. want to sell it or not, I told the person that was interested that I would take $500 for it and that was kind of like a take it all or leave it all price. Any ideas? I could be way off! haha

Also, I have a few months left to xbox live and I wasn't sure if this could be given to someone else. Probably not but if you know, please feel free to share! :)

Thanks! :)

If i would buy this, would be $525 or $550.
Be careful buying things from other countries, the power adapters and so on may be different (and use different wattages and the like). Also if you get a foreign console you'll likely have to buy foreign games for it due to the different region coding and DRM bull crap.
I never will buy this, i hate Xbox 360.

Just giving an idea of price.
Thanks! :)
What model is the xbox? Arcade, Pro, or Elite? Basically how big is the hard drive on it? That would have an effect on how much it's worth as well. I'd say around $450 to $500 is a good price for all of it. It's never a good idea to sell a used product for the same price as a new one. Believe me I've tried. Even if it's hardly used at all the simple fact you had it first makes it used.

You could also sell everthing seperatley and get a little more out of it. It's more of a hassle, but sometimes it can pay off. Bundling things usually makes the value of the individual items lower. For example the controller. Regular price is about $45. Used by itself maybe $30. And used in the bundle probably closer to $20. Also, I'm pretty sure the LIVE subscription is a wash, and can't be carried over.

I broke that down way too much, but hope it helps.
Thanks for your advice! I'm so on the fence about whether to sell it or not, that I think for me either it all goes at once or I just keep it and maybe I'll use it :)
If you like games every once in a while, but don't like the drawn out campains of games or online multiplayer I would suggest selling the XBOX and getting a Wii. The Wii is geared a lot more to very casual gaming. Pick up and play. Not a whole lot to delve into. What you see is what you get. Plus for what you would get out of selling the XBOX you could get the Wii, a few games, and accessories, cause the Wii is the cheapest out of the main consoles.

Just a thought
I have a Wii and usually play on a daily basis :) Thanks!
Well never mind then :) Just sell the XBOX and buy something else cool. No sense in keeping it if you don't use it.
Thanks for the advice!
