How will the Microsoft Courier fair out with the Apple Ipad?
To all of the Apple lovers it seems that Microsoft has a secrect weapon up its sleeve. The upcoming tablet Microsoft Courier. It has two seven inch screens that allow you to effortlessly flip through reading articles,cut and past desired content and place it in a journal for presentations and other uses. Though both are a revolution to the tech world I believe both serve different purposes and leaves my reason for saying this. There is really no comparing the two titans against one another. What do you feel about the Microsoft Courier.

Very great use of media to express your point...I must say if i where to choose then it would have to be the Microsoft Courier simply because it uses window 7 os opposed to the Ipad using the iphone's original os. But it goes to say that both will be a great product this year.

Do you think its not announced simply because it is still in the prototype phase? This would prove them not really releasing information on the supposed apearance of the Microsoft Courier. There is possiblility of this being a fud but it can also be a factual statement. We can never really know until it is here. I would love if it is true and not just a hype. Even if it is it stills gives the Microsoft Ideas..lol Maybe I should send Bill Gates a letter of recommendation lol :D

Nathaniel, stop with your blinders please. The Courier IS NOT a rumor. It's been talked about, shown, demonstrated and it's features documented long before Apple was rumored to release this iPad which will surely flop due to it's extreme limitations in use.
The iPad is not even in the same league as to what the Courier can already do. There are videos from Microsoft showing it's capabilities. Apple will lose on this one in a big way.

At least we know that the iPad is coming to market and just isn't a concept. A lot of companies make concepts of things but never make them. Until there is an actual Courier out there for consumers to touch and use, there's nothing to compare.

Yes I can only agree with what you have to say on this but if...if Microsoft does make the Courier then yet another great titan will be added in the Tech Toys Archives. I wouldn't have compared either one because in my honest opinion both has its pros and cons and people have their own personal preferences. I say enough with the Apple and Mac war and just go for what you like because they both have thing in comparison" Entertaining the consumer"

If the Courier does come out though I'd probably get one. It seems nicer for some other things compared to the iPad. I like that you can use a stylus too to write on it because if the iPad wants to be in the education market they need to have the ability to write notes on it.

Yes the specs i've heard are pretty alluring...yes that feature of being able to write is really cool and you can cut,drag and paste to different selected content. Ipad has a ton-o apps and will probably make this option available to Ipad users. I wouldn't doubt this..This goes to say that the Microsoft aims more for the educational and buisness route and ipad is more entertaining and fun..but both entertain in different ways. I do think the Courier is going to be a hot item and really look forward for its release if it's not a hype. Great job on noticing the major use of the Microsoft courier. Now do you understand why i say they can't really be compared and it depends on the person own preference.

The Ipad is more tangible but both concepts are real because the ideas of them are real. Its just that idea of the Ipad has been processed into a touchable object that you can feel. I think the Microsoft Courier is real very much so. Its idea just has not been processed into the next phase.When it comes to what looks best or runs better i am neutral to this tech war simply because people have their personal preference. Not everyone is going to like the Ipad and not everyone is going to like the Microsoft but you have to respect them both in some way because they both serve a purpose. Plus the Ipad may do things Microsoft can't and Microsoft will do things that Ipad can't. Can't you see they're like cousin's in some ways .I think when a person thinks or speaks negative of an idea its becuase it touched them or entertained them in some way so to Apple loves its ok to like the microsoft and to the microsoft its ok to like apple..as i stated before they both serve one main purpose and that is to entertain the consumer.

I am glad you agree and understand my perspective on this. Yes the attacks will come from both sides but i thinks its the thrill of the name when a person says, I have an Apple Ipad and some else replies, "well i have a pc tablet" so on and so forth...lol its the thrill of competing and sometimes i think tech geeks get so focused on the specs they forget the purpose behind the artistic view of the product...so yes they both will be bashed simply becuase of the names they are made under but who really cares when you are having fun with you new toy i know i want...yes its(Microsoft courier) not needed until they put those hungry hands on it and start playing around with its little features lol and your mind goes on this Techniphoria lol and i beleive you understand this complete simply because you state "as I said while I may not like the iPad as I have seen so far, once I test it in a store I may feel different, and maybe the same goes for the MS product as well!" let face it both are have very artistic values and i wish i could get both. Then when some says, "Hey i have the ipad" and the other replies, " So i have the microsoft courier" ....I can say, " well to bad for you becuase i have them both haaa..."lol Which ever you choose enjoy its uses becuase next year or maybe a few years later there will be something else. I just can't wait until apple or microsoft makes a portable computer that allows you to drive your car with out being in it like james bond but thats thinking way ahead lol or is it?
