Take it back to the Apple Store? It's brand new they should be able to exchange it or fix it.
What he said. Schedule a Genius Bar appointment, have a Genius look at it, and they'll most likely replace it for free. My friend had his iPhone 4 replaced (for the second time) due to a sticky home button today.
im on my third iphone 4 since the day it came out and now im really upset because today my lock button stuck and now for the 4th time i need to go in and get a new one this isnt fun.

On an unrelated rant, regarding people having a sticky home button and having to get handsets replaced... well actually just necissary handset replacement in general:

rant {

It pisses me off to spend $1000 outright or $250 subsidized for the phone and after owning a 3G, 3Gs, and iPhone 4, only having once to have something replaced because of a hardware fault.  I know a LOT of people who have claimed having 6 phones fail in a year.  I know its irrational because it could have happened that many times to me, but since it's only happened once to me with 3 phones owned (all still working today) I get a feeling (justified or not I don't care... I'm just saying) that I'm being ripped off in the way of my phones that haven't needed all those replacements being really expensive since its high price is subsidising all those other phones that have failed.

I know that my phone could very well develop 6 hardware faults this year, but feelings aren't always based on well thought out logic and I don't really care enough to re-examine the notion every time it comes up in my thought process (not very often), so I instead just continue thinking from time to time, "Why is Apple ripping me off?"
