More Information

Ok, I don't know how to describe this but I'll explain that when I got my MacBook a few weeks back it had a faulty disc drive and subsequently got replaced to the MacBook I have now. Getting back to the point on both this macbook and the first macbook I had it had a strange issue, where sometimes the trackpad cursor would freeze for a few seconds even though I'm moving my finger over the trackpad still. It would occur more often when I have my finger on the bottom left of the corner as you would a usual notebook. Usually the place where the cursor freezes is when I'm tracking my finger on the bottom(-ish) part of the trackpad...but it does happen. Is anyone else experiencing this with the new MB's Late 2009?

Bump :).
I have one and the trackpad is wonderful.
anyone else experiencing this? any known fixes?
It's all fine on my older non-unibody MacBook.
just want to bump the thread again, see if any unibody white MB owners experience this issue.
have you talked to apple about this issue?
Mine has been fine. Are you sure you have all the updates up to the latest? On Snow Leopard? I know I heard there was this exact issue you are describing, but it was something Apple fixed with a software update a while back.
yes I know there was an issue with prior aluminum macbook and macbook pros in 08, and it was fixed with a software update but that was on Leopard. I have the new Late 2009 MacBook, with Snow Leopard - all updates installed. I haven't got the click issue or anything relevant to the prior alu. MB problems, so I think this is a different software issue. I booted into Ubuntu and there is no such issue on that OS, so I think this is some form of software issue.
