Switching from VMWare Fusion to Parallels

I am switching from VMWare Fusion to Parallels. The OS I am running is Windows 7. What is the best way to keep all my applications and files. I also don't have a copy of windows any more otherwise I would have restored from a backup. Can I clone it and boot into it in parallels?
