I haven't seen Ghost Busters or the God Father.

Karate Kid - Never saw it as any sort of classic.

As a matter of fact...there are tons of movies that are so much better than any on this list. For instance...as a film minor in college...got to watch and continue to watch many of these. Here's my list of what I would consider classics that you can watch on TCM or AMC:

1. It's a Wonderful Life
2. Gone With the Wind (first DVD I ever bought)
3. The Manchurian Candidate (the one with Frank Sinatra)
4. The first two Godfathers
5. American Graffiti
6. The Deerhunter
7. The Graduate
8. Taxi Driver
9. The Seventh Seal
10. Midnight Cowboy

I haven't seen Godfather, Karate Kid or Any of the Rocky movies (although I've heard the soundtrack).

Ghost busters was shite. Back to the future was actually cool.

I'm surprised you haven't seen the back to the future movies. They're completely epic.
