More productivity. You can be gaming on one monitor, while chatting on another.

Testing code is fun in a dual setup, programming on one screen testing on the other...
Or controling a virtual pc, remote pc,... is more fun on two monitors

The 2nd monitor usually doesn't seem practical until you drop back down to 1. I run 4 and use pretty much all of them. Drives me insane when I work on my laptop. Coding, photoshop, yes even gaming (make sure you change the settings to Windows mode to use other monitors) are more accessible.

I have been using Dual Screens for about a year now and LOVE IT!
I cannot stand being confined to one monitor when I am at school lol.

Also, if you have VMWare or Parallels you can run one OS on one monitor and one on the other.

Me too, left monitor for Ventrillo, Steam, X-Fire, EVGA precision tool, Icons etc, right monitor for full window game.
Web browser on one with Winamp/ VLC media player running on the other.
Or when using Photoshop you can stick tools and pallets, etc on one screen while working on the other.
I'd never go back to 1.

Three is amazing actually, much better than two.. The forth i use is kind of over kill most of the time. It gets used rarely, but man it sure looks cool... make sure you guys with 2 monitors check out ultramon. app that lets you set hotkeys to move windows from one monitor to the next...
