btw, this is only a state law, not related to the federal government in ANY way, also, if you aren't doing anything wrong then what do you have to worry about?

Just because they can, doesn't mean they will. And if you're not a criminal or affiliated with criminals, there's no reason for them to attach a GPS on your car.

I find it hilarious how many people seem to think that complaining about the government is "un American" (not necessarily in this thread, but in general). Isn't the whole set up of the US govt made so the people can complain and make things change to the will of the people? So, complaining about the govt is about the most American thing you can do. As an outsider it's rather interesting to see all these people who don't seem to have the first idea of what being an "American" is. Ironic really lol.

Plus, there are systems in place to make using this kind of data very difficult by any one person. After all, doesn't the govt know where you all live and how much you make and how many kids you have and... it goes on, they've yet to rise up and become a dictatorship despite having so much information and power.
