Yeah, I also heard the crack Joe Biden made about the guy in a wheelchair in a meeting in Missouri. Biden asked him to stand up so people could recognize him. It was pretty funny!

Where do I even start with this?
As an outsider who just found your site today, I find this thread overrunning with Ad Hominums and other fallacies. (though which website can claim they operate without them?)
In what is being called a democracy we have a president. He doesn't make up laws. He passes and vetoes. So it's true, he's controlled by someone else. So who is doing the controlling? The House and Senate it seems. The elected officials who continually say: "You can't tell us what to do." (recently regarding earmarks)
He works with what he's given. He's no king and of that I'm glad. (though that might get more done quicker) It's not like he can say: "Troops will come home today!" No, he's got to pass a bill, which has to be introduced by a member of Congress. Then moved through the House and the Senate, does anyone understand how fricken hard that is?
So much more to say... jeeze! A world of missinformation.

Hey Matt,
Obama is the commander in chief. If he wants out of Iraq under the constitution he can absolutely start pulling troops home without any bill. For your information we never declared war. So you don't need a bill to end a war that never began.
The congress handed over it's responsibility to declare war when we passed the Iraq war Resoulution in 2002. The resolution authorized President Bush to use the Armed Forces of the United States "as he determines to be necessary and appropriate" in order to "defend the national security of the United States against the continuing threat posed by Iraq; and enforce all relevant United Nations Security Council Resolutions regarding Iraq." This is not a declaration of war. This is an authorization of force. There is a difference and that is why the word war is not in there.
It has takes the democrats longer than the entire second world war to get out of iraq after we elected them the majority of house and senate to do that.
Now we have the democrats run the executive, the house and senate, and still no end.
And you still think their hands are tied?
Misinformation indeed on your part.
Obama and the democrats won' t end the war by choice and choice only.
The question this film touches on is why?

Well it wasn't really a war...more of an outright illegal invasion and massacre of innocent people, followed by torture and rape of detainees, sectarian violence and chaos, and the building of permanent US bases. Now, we have US-British oil companies there and a strange absence of Chinese and Russian corporate influence since the invasion as well as a lot of western contractors making a fuck load of money from death and destruction. Nobody has asked the Iraqi people or supported candidates to nationalise the oil of Iraq and get rid of the US military bases. Nobody seems to be aware that the CIA helped facilitate the contracts of selling Saddam bombs and gas during the 80's in the war against Iran; and the Reagan administration turned a blind-eye while Saddam gassed and murdered his own people in the Kurdish north. They still did business with their ol' ally; until he became a liability for them.

Obama and the people in his administration are serveants of globalist bankers in Wall-Street. People like Larry Summers, Paulson, etc have Wall-Street ties. The policy advisers to the Obama administration have come from the Executive Comittee of the Trilateral Commision from bankers like Paul Adolf Volkker and Zbig Brzizinski among others.
They don't serve the American people; they serve themselves and the super-rich.

This is nothing to do with Obama's race at all; its to do with the fact that he is being used by the same banking and corporate powers that Bush served - to deceive the American people into thinking there is "change".
