I downloaded Firefox 4 and I like it. I find it really fast and the gui is good and most of my add-ons work with Firefox 4. Anyway I give FireFox 4 a 4 out of 5. firefox 4 using around 200mb of ram with 4 tabs open, one is a video, thats not alot to me. but then again i have 4gb of ram, so 200mb is only 5% of my ram

475 megs (and climbing) for me with this page and Gmail open. I expect that to at least double unless I quit and reopen the browser. It could be an OS specific differance we're having.

Arrogant? maybe, but if it is it's because of how long I have been doing this (By this I mean working on computers). Although not as long as dtm I'll admit.

I've been working with computers since December 1978 (which is quite a few years longer than DTM). Arrogance is not a trait that comes with time but a trait that comes with boredom.

I prefer to use Google as my default search engine. I loved it that the default home page for FF3.x was Google. After I upgraded to FF4 I soon discovered that Yahoo was the new default home page & search engine for this version.

I do not care for Yahoo, except for using YM. So, I looked for the old Google home page that was used in FF3.x. I found it and then opened up Options and clicked on "Use Current Pages". I had more than one Tab open and I did not notice the "s" on the end of the word "Pages". So, when I clicked on "Use Current Pages" it made 11 different Tabs my Home Page. UGH

Firefox 4 is a MAJOR improvement. However, it still isn't enough to pull me away from Chrome. I <3 my Webkit browser. :P

I read the Wikipedia page of Firefox and i came to know that all the problems through the Firefox 3 were sorted out in 4 but still they are a long way from being the best, i personally like it, but i had trouble with Firefox 4 so i switched to Google Chrome, otherwise i was a Firefox user for 2 years.
