Been there...done that.

1st...you have your boss/fellow employees screaming at you to get it done as quick as possible...whether or not you know how to fix the problem. Had WAY too many calls to businesses to fix or network the strangest devices. For instance...setup and network the copier. They didn't want to call the copier repair guy...2 hour trip and $100 US an hour to do it. Never even heard of the brand and my manager jumped down my throat for possibly losing a business client. Or the best one...insurance company wants to run wireless in their office in a strip mall. They don't want encryption or the signal "leaking" out past the front windows or the other 3 walls.

2nd...you have the customer/client breathing down your neck watching your every move and telling you to get it done as quickly as possible. It's their money. Way too many people want their PC/Mac to do something in particular...which you had only heard about doing in something like "Star Trek" or "Star Wars". They have it there...they want it.

Too much stress and too many cheap idiots. On the other hand...saw the old manager working at an office supply store behind the counter. Too bad they did a liquidation the next week and he was out looking for another job. This one incident made all I went through all worth the living hell he put me through.;)
Director of NCIS, SECNAV, or the first female four star admiral. However I am nowhere educated or experienced enough to hold any of those positions.
