What specifically are you lookin for?

I'm really hoping someone cuts the price on the Intel 980x :P

Or the Asus Rampage III board.

What else...maybe 24 GB 1600 RAM....haha. If only... I've got like 2,000 to spend right now, so I'm trying to make my dollar stretch as far as possible. Wah!

Honestly i was going to buy a Macbook Pro this christmas, but i think im going to skip it for now, because im saving up for a car! :) so i'm planning to buy the Macbook Pro next Christmas 2011! :) or Christmas 2012? LOL :)

I know what you mean! I'm so nervous about buying anything, because I just know I'm going to buy the 980x and then the next big processor is going to come out and it's price is going to fall.

I'm contemplating just buying a new case, upgrading a few parts and keep on saving my dough. It's not like my current rig can't handle my needs anyway :P

My mom just called me. Sounds like I'm getting a 360 and Kinect for Christmas haha. So much for surprise, but hell yeah! This is exciting.

I had 2-360's before and both red-ringed on me. I gave up on having them repaired any more and just posted all my stuff on eBay for peanuts. Maybe this will revive my lust for console gaming... OR NOT Bahaha. PC til the day I die. (and Mac ;)

So, are you still running Windows XP? or already upgraded to Windows 7?
I'm still XP Pro dude, i just can let it go easily, i'm still in love with XP Pro!

I switched to 7 the week it offically came out and never looked back.

I was running XP Pro before, but I downloaded the RC and it blew me away. I'd switch if I were you :P See if you can get a student to buy it for you. Only like $50 doing it that way.

I kind of want to get Ultimate though. Just to see what it's like. XP was a great OS, but it's pry time to hang up the cleats.

Well, i might upgrade to Windows 7 Pro or Ultimate in the future, maybe around 2014 until XP Pro fade out! LOL!, i'm running Windows XP Pro in my studio, that's why i can't easily upgrade to Windows 7, maybe some softwares might not work on Win 7.

You can look most of those things up to see if they'll transfer :P

What kind of software do you use in your studio?

I haven't tried it out myself, but I'm pretty sure you can run a virtual machine of XP in Windows 7 Ultimate.
