I've owned the original, and now the EEE PC 901 model from Asus. I think they have everyone beat with respect to sheer battery life.

My vote is for Asus.

My top four ( in no order) Asus,Dell,HP,Toshiba.
I completely agree with this. I have the older eee pc 701 that has served me well as my "throw around" computer. I think I am going to get the eee pc 1000he, the battery life is amazing on it. But I also might wait to see when the eee pc t91 comes out.

But yes I think asus is the best.
Couldn't have said it better myself :)
MSI U115 Hybrid is the first netbook to feature a dual storage system – a solid state drive and a traditional hard drive. When the netbook is in ECO mode, the traditional hard drive is shut down to save on power consumption. It also has a 6 cell battery and when you put the netbook in ECO mode, the U115 Hybrid can achieve a battery life up to 12 hours long. You can have either an 8GB SSD or a 16GB SSD matched with either a 120GB or 160GB 2.5 inch SATA HDD. Plus I like the keyboard being a larger size for a netbook. The U115 Hybrid has a 10" wide LCD with a 1024x 600 resolution. It also has an Intel® Atom Processor Z530 1.60GHz, 1GB RAM, 4 in 1 card reader(XD/SD/MMC/Memory Stick), and a
2.0 Megapixel webcam.

Wow 12 Battery life, wide screen and dual storage - SSD and SATA, that has my eyes wide open.

I am a fan of the MSI netbooks, but I also like what I have seen from ASUS and the HP Mini series.
But if you like a touch screen convertible TabletPC Netbook check out the Gigabyte T1028M TouchNote:
Looks like a Wind with a touchscreen.
Yeah it does.
MSI FTW!!!
Alienware makes a netbook?
no,i think he's talking about notebooks, alienware doesn't have any netbooks on their shelves and even Macs coz he also mentioned Macbook air
Yeah I was going to say, Haha, if Alienware made a netbook it would probably be the most powerful one out there but with an "outstanding" (sarcastic laugh) 10 minutes of battery life. Haha
It actually does look pretty solid. I haven't seen one in person though.
I have one and its very good its like the best netbook around.
