What's the worst device that Apple or Microsoft ever made???
Hello guys!, for Apple, i would say the iPad, and for Windows, i would say Windows ME and maybe Vista! :)

I believe that's the Apple II Plus I used in college circa 1978 or so. Apple's stradegy was to put one in every classroom and hope people would buy them for their homes. DEC's (Digital Equipment Corporation second largest computer firm in the world) stradegy was too stick with medium to large systems, which cost 10 times what 3 PCs could do, and not need a large specially air conditioned room with an emergency back up generator. MY mom could not convince them of this and neither could I. My mom bought a house with the proceeds of DEC stock. Not long after DEC went to Compac to produce PCs. Too Little, too late. Enter Fiorina's fiasco by buying it. That boneheaded move caused whoops and yells by nearly everyone in the industry including even HP's competition (my self included.) Stock holders were threatening to sue (they should have) and the board famously said farewell to Fiorina and fired her. Compac was a thorn in Hp's side ever since not even being needed in the first place. I have an IPod shuffle being given it for free and haven't used it yet. I thought Microsoft's Professional 2000 was the best OS they ever made, ironically ME the worst released so close to each other. My sister works for AT&T and even with a substantial discount no member of the family owns an IPhone, myself included. She says her kids can cry for them all they want. She's not buying the hype.

WOW, I owned one of those back in like 1989 ish. A printer to go with it and my Mac Powerbook laptop them shitz were heavy too, the battery weighed more than the whole laptop. At work I used an IBM and at home I had a MacSE if I remember correctly. Back then Mac & IBM's were much easier to use. There really wasn't much to em'.
oh, to answer your question Worst for Mac? I dunno, I've owned the Ipod,Ipod video,iTouchi and love em all. They never failed me.
Windows? I hated Win98 only in comparison to todays OS's but then again it was good and the best we could get at the time for the time.
Then again I don't think an OS falls under device. Isn't a device... Oh, forget it!

Ok, going from what I have experienced in my lifetime (not before I was born or could really tell if something was bad or not)...
Apple: G4 Cube, It looked pretty damn cool, but all of the ports faced down so if you didn't buy a connector from Apple, either your Cube you get raised up from the cable pressing up on the system or your cable/connector would get bent. At least you could upgrade stuff inside, unlike the mini. I wouldn't mind having one though just for fun and as a collectable.
Microsoft: I'd have to say Vista. It's given me so many headaches, blue screens, and so much more. Even though it was pushed back many times, maybe they still should have waited longer to release it, or get rid of some stuff that broke it.
I hope no one puts the iPad on here because it hasn't even been released yet! Don't bash it until you have personally used one.

Based on what i've read:
Apple: Newton
Microsoft: ME
Based on my experience:
Apple: whatever version their os was 7 years ago (It made be go back to windows and never return)
Microsoft: Internet Explorer

as for ms, im not sure, i haven't really used anything bad from them, msn and outlook always made me though.

You can use any headphones with the iPod Touch, but they won't have the remote on them.

Why do some of you think Vista sucks after using vista for a few years i would never go back to XP.
Vista is a fuel guzzler of the processor's i spelt it with a z on purpose by the way.
Vista has a nice them and really isn't that bad if you have 2GB or so of ram and you keep your PC clean of junk it runs well Ok windows 7 is better but I Hate the theme well half and half I have used windows 7 on a laptop and i liked the theme and it was nice then i went to school and used it and I'm not sure if it was the screen resolution but it sucked i guess because the screens are crap and what's even crappier is the pentium 4 with 2-3GB of ram that runs like a piece of -you fill in the rest-
The worst mac hmm not a fan of mac but the ipod's aren't bad so I'm not going to say the Ipad's suck when i haven't used one so I'm going to say those old chunky IMac's They where not to bad but personally i hate anything that come's out a factory called macintosh exceptions on the ipod/iphone there not bad, I would <3 Microsoft if they brought out a decent touch phone!
