Has anybody had sutch a huge difference in opinion all the time with a friend or someone they know that it simply just gets bad enough to destroy any connection you have with that person?
I've got an example to set. I've been friends with this guy i know for about 4 years now.
I'm a bit of a tech junkie i always have been, although i've slowly become less severe about it, and him, well he is not really at all, except he's pretty in deep with his video games. Compared to me he can be pretty self centered about things. But then again so can i, Selfish, obnoxious, everything flows both ways between the two of us. We let things like Fact versus Fiction Ruin us. Like for example we had this bolony fight the other day about The Old Apple versus Everything else, Ok This subject i left pretty quickly i don't care about it anymore because it's person opinion their is no right answer here to begin with, But this other one hits me by surprise, Claiming a Company owns another company,or somethings the same, blah blah, I know i'm right, he thinks he's right? sort of thing. Tho i must admit with him it is not easy to walk away from it, he becomes a huge dick he doesn't like it when people tell him he's wrong, when i backed out the whole Microsoft versus apple thing, He just kept budding in "MICROSOFT SUCKS DAMMIT SAY IT". This is the part where i just ended the convo with a new one, but of course the same thing happens over again!
Has anybody ever had this get to the point where you feel that he or she is so mis lead that it's ruining your friendship. Do you ever feel differently about someone, or even yourself for that matter, because it's not always them, it can go both ways, and often does.

I never end friendships with somebody just because they don't like a company I like. If I did that, then a lot of people would be disappointed.

I say this, because who quits being friends with someone (unless one is being a show offy dick) for using a different system. Now that I am only reading your side of the story and not your friends. I don't know what really happened. So I am not going to take sides.
Permalink Reply by SassySweetBren on January 4, 2013 at 1:27am No but I lost a long time friend because of politics. It hurts when a person cares more about someone or something that they care about you.
Dust off your shoes and get on about your business. It sounds like y'all butt heads and if the truth be known, you share (probably) share similar personalities. Just let it go. Another better friend will come your way.
Hugs Ryan. I know how this hurts. You will get over it. I promise.
