My issue is 'coverage'...ATT may claim 97% coverage but lags VZ far behind in coverage on rural interstates (and VZ is far from perfect in many areas of state highways and interstates). When I was on Sprint, the whole state of Montana was dead except for the town of Kalispell. I love the coverage maps comparisons between ATT and VZ...

If you're always in an urban area, any provider works...What surprises me is that as a frequent interstate traveler, coverage doesn't seem much better on 50 to 100 mile stretches than 20 years ago when we had Moto bricks and flips. Where are the Fed regulators when ya need them? (I wouldn't touch an iPhone till VZ offers one...)
Thank you so much!....helpful info dude! thank you once again! :)
So many factors and personnel preferences are involved here I don't think that a general dominance can be proclaimed.
you could always get a GPS phone for emergencies...maybe?
Or a Satellite Phone if you want signal anywhere in the World :)
Satellite phone?
East Coast, Verizon
West Coast, AT&T
Middle America, TMobile

Prediction: TMobile will be bought up by Verizon thereby making VZW the biggest player. But Comcast i hear is about to launch some wireless technology, so we'll see what happens.

Mobile Data is still too new to call... Having used multiple providers for mobile data, I believe Verizon Wireless to be the strongest overall right now. However, it is indeed the most expensive.
Thanks for the info Ogref! God bless you! :)
