Android: The Mobile operating system that sprung from no where but, In 2-5 years could it end up on your desktop (if its not dead) or a laptop?

 

Tablets and smartphone vendors are going crazy over it, i dont see why..... Asus or sony wont.

They are going because it's free and an alternative to the iPhone

I don't think Android itself will make it to many desktop computers, however I'm sure we'll see many more phones like the Atrix 4G that runs an OS like Android, and then when docked to a computer launches a better desktop experience.
