Wiring a Snes to an old Sony TV - any suggestions?

Ah, the super nintendo. Where would Nintendo be today without it?

I'm trying to get mine working again, but it isn't easy. The TV I've got only goes up to channel 27, and the Snes is tuned to register on channel 36. Any ideas?

Mortal Kombat awaits!

If your TV has a SCART port you can use that with the converter dongle you put the 3 plugs (white red yellow) into or put the plugs directly into the TV's composite ports. If not, you're stuck with RF and have to resort to performing a frequency sweep hoping to catch the signal. If all fails, you can connect the SNES to a VCR if available and have that device output the SNES channel (programmed onto the VCR) to the TV.
