Hey folks,
Never added a comment on here before, but thought that I'd give everyone a heads up on what happens when you do have paranormal activity in your house and you call for help.

I'm not going get into specifics unless I really have to. But, my wife and I bought a home 7 yrs ago, and within weeks, members of my house started noticing things that were not normal... either things werent' where you left them, only to have them turn up in that spot just a little later. We'd hear things moving, or ppl, talking, several things like the VCR would turn on and off by itself... nothing to major... just little things that make you go hmmmmm.

Over the last year or so, things have escallated, to photo's of ppl, when there was no one in the shot, things falling off shelfs, bi-fold room deviders falling for no reason without making a noise, and more... The last thing that made us call for help is my wife woke up with 3 bleeding scratches down her back.

We desided to do our own EVP session and caught a child singing (no kids in my house, only 2 sleeping(at the time) older teens), and also the same voice calling my wife by name... this is what ultimatly is what took it over the top.

We've suspected this house to have something since we bought it, starting out as just little things. Then we started getting our own proof...such as the pic's, the scratches, then the EVP's... I didn't want someone in my house investigating little stuff, which is why we waited. I also didn't want to be on some TV show... I've had my proof, I submitted my proof to the pro's, and I only wanted to know...what do we do now? how do we stop this from getting violent? what are the steps needed to be done to get whatever this is to leave us alone?...

Well we first went to Ghost Hunters because I've seen on their site that they don't have to bring a camera crew, and I was only looking for answers and help...I already had the proof of what was here. Well it's impossable to actually talk to anyone in their office, I even got their address and phone number off the whitepages.com... phone number disconnected. It was a mediator in thier chat room from Irland that I ended talking to...giving accurate dates and events, along with the proof we had collected... he reffered us to a group that is actually further away from us than TAPS that from what I was told if they find something they can't deal with, will call TAPS in to investigate.

We told this group that the things that happen mostly happen between 12 and 5am... they showed up at 6pm and were picking up their equipment by 1am...before most of the stuff normally starts. They listened to our claims, looked at our photos (which we had analized by a hallmark graduate with 40 yrs of experience in photography), listened to our EVP and were suprized by them...

But there investigation came up with nothing...probably because they left before stuff usually starts happening, and even though towards the end of the investigation...one of the investigators was scratched on the face.

They called us five days later saying that the cams and EVP's that they took came up with nothing, and the jacket that the investigator that got scrached was wearing had a zipper so thats were the scratch came from. They discredited our pic's even though we had them analized by a prof. that stated that there was no way that these pics could have camera or user error and are authentic... Our EVP's were discreted as a bad recording...even though you can clearly hear the singing and the tone of the other voice saying my wife's name..... and reguardless of weather they want to believe if our evidence is real or not... we weren't asking for help proving something was here... we WERE asking for help on what to do to deal with what we have.

I've very disappointed in these so called prof. paranormal investigators....and we can't believe they are part of the Ghost Hunters Family. Everyone that knows this house, knows us, has stayed with us, has seen what we collected, knows that we wouldn't fabricate something like this.... And all we were looking for is advice on what to do next... and we got NOTHING.

They told us that they were going to investigate our houses history... my wife traced it as far back as 1853 which was back when this street was part of another town... we've traked down 3 past owners, one of which has a son that came here to talk to us about things that happed to his family while they lived here, and he identified the person in the picture we took.... We figured that these people would have gotten at least what we got if not more...they said they had investigated it but they had only one fact about the area, not even the house.

We are left not knowing anything more about what we got now than before we started looking for help. We have started taking our own steps on investigating, we're in the process now of buying all the equipment that Ghost Hunters, and other investigating groups use...we will get more of our own proof one way or another.... and we are also researching the things that have happened to us to see what others did to address the issues here, on our own. I imagin that after we do all research, and we have all the equipment, we too will start our own investigation group but it will be about the people that are being affected... not about fame or fortune such as these other groups are into for.

I know that I have been gone forever, had a lot of stuff going on. I recently made a trip to the Trans - Allegheny Lunatic Asylum, which was featured on an episode of Ghost Hunters- ruled haunted, to stay the night and do some Ghost Hunting on my own. I plan to make a full blog about it with pictures and recordings coming soon!

Yo...I am interested in all paranormal. I have had experience of it also. So I know how it is to experience it. I love TAPS and the Ghosthunters also. They kind of do what I could possibly do in the future.

Hello, I live on okinawa,japan and i ghost hunt here, this place is so great because it was the location for the battle of Okinawa. A few of the great places i want to investigate are Maeda point its where the okinawan people jumped off a cliff because the japanese people told them americans would rape and kill them so they committed suicide instead. Also there is a grave that can only be seen from the sea and legend has it if you look at it a old man shakes his head and several days later a body washes up on shore. Those are just a few of the many i wish to investigate. I did an investigation in a abandoned barracks and got EVP that sounded like "Collect me" really creepy ill upload when i get free time.
