I love playing AOE and C&C Generals Zero Hour.
I know they're old, but still a fav. I need a way that I can easily play those games even through a network with other players and not have to use Windows while doing it.

I finally took the "plunge" and decided to support Cedega. They need a lot of work, and giving them money will hopefully help that out.

vmware is in development of a new virtual station that has Direct3D video acceleration. I have tested it in my ubuntu os. I have to say it looks amazing and they have done a great job on it so far hope to see even more. There might be a time when you have a copy of xp or vista and instead of wine you could use the vmware station and get better fps and resolution than in wine. Would be sick to see. Don't know if this has been posted on here if it has i do apoligize for the doubled info. http://www.vmware.com/support/ws55/doc/ws_vidsound_d3d.html

I have Open Arena and Urban Terror which is pretty cool I guess. I just installed Glest but haven't been able to play it yet.

Games I play under Linux (Natively):

FreeDroidRPG
Glest
Open Arena
D2X-XL (Descent 1 and 2)
Urban Terror (Decent Counterstrike replacement.)
Doom 1, 2, and Final
Quake 1, 2, and 3 (I have Quake 4, just no time to install it.)
Warcraft II (Stratagus)
Warzone 2100
Duke Nukem 3D Atomic Edition

With Wine:
Double Dragon Extreme (OpenBoR)
Heroes of Might and Magic 2
Heretic and Hexen (ZDoom Engine)
Mega Man In Paradise

Emulators:
MAME (Arcade, and a bunch of other stuff)
FCEU (NES)
ZSNES (SNES)
Stella (Atari 2600)
Hugo (Turbo Grafx 16) I have some extremely rare games for the Turbo Grafx 16.)

I could go on, but whats the point. I'm also having an adaptor constructed to connect four Sega Genesis Controllers to a single USB port using a Sega Multi-tap.
