I like Ubuntu as much as the next person, but has there been any news of if you can play videos games on Ubuntu?

I have really been enjoying Ubuntu 10.04. It seems to become more refined and usable with every distro. Just when you think it can't get any better, it does. I'm actually a Mac user and keep VMs of Windows 7 and Ubuntu on my system for when they are needed or I just want to play in the other environments and 10.04 64 bit has been loads of fun. I think Ubuntu is really challenging Windows as a user friendly desktop OS.
