Being unemployed for over a year and having such an interest in many things tech (gadgets, software, online activity) would be a frustrating experience without a certain degree of patience and acceptance. I held out for quite a while, but I finally bit the bullet and joined Twitter. The only reason I didn't jump in for so long is I wasn't sure how interested people would be in what I was doing at a given time.
