Adding different menu bar items onto Mac OSX

Posted on February 8, 2009 at 6:00pm 8 Comments

I was playing around on my Mac, and I found some cool menu bar items (bar on the top where the clock is located, for those of you who didn't know) add ons that you can add, all built into the OS. First, to find these added menu bars, navigate your Finder to your hard drive, and once in your hard drive go to: System>Library>Core Services>Menu Extras.

From here you can add everything from Eject to iChat to your top menu bar. My favorite one of these added menu bar items even… Continue

Apple is very understanding.....

Posted on October 19, 2008 at 12:28pm 5 Comments

A few weeks ago I had to do a restore on my PC and I wasn't able to back up most of my iTunes content, so I though I was going to have to say good bye to about 20 movies I had saved on my PC. I was reading through Apple's iTunes store agreements and I found out that you are only allowed to download iTunes content 1 time after you purchased it.....bummer..... I decided, though, to try to get some money back, so I emailed Apple telling them my situation, and I was surprised to find the next day… Continue

When Geeks! Go Camping.....

Posted on October 9, 2008 at 4:40pm 11 Comments

My family often takes camping trips around and about just to try to get me outdoors, but when I go camping I bring more stuff than I probably would ever use at home, because it gives me the sense of being around what I like. Now, we're taking a trip this week sometime and while most people think of camping as hard work, but for me the hardest thing I'll be doing is hooking up the two TVs we have to the cable and X Box 360. You wouldn't guess how many places I've made my mom cancel trips to… Continue

I can't wait for my birthday...... and I have some suspicions as to what I'm going to get, but I'm not going to say anything until I get something. I'll keep you guys posted!

P.S. I already got a Mac mini as an early birthday present, and if I don't get a new MacBook by my birthday, then I'm saving up to buy one!

I've got a 360 but I don't play it, I prefer the good old keyboard and mouse gaming. Sent you a friend request as well. The wireless adapter for the 360 is a bit of a rip-off, however it's a good piece of kit.

Yea I'm pretty smart! I only got one B on my report card and that is because I didn't turn in a paper and got a 0! It was still an 87! Good luck getting into your school! I love math! It is my favorite subject! And I am leaving tomorrow for that thing with my school! Can't wait! I know it is at least $150 x 3 rooms! But sine more people are in a room maybe it is a bigger room so it ranges I think from
$130 to $250! I think my room that I'm in is $170 but I'm not sure! But pretty nice! Talk to you later and sorry for the late reply!

I don't get out until 4:00! So kinda late but I'm a late person so I like the late in the morning because I'm not a morning person! I know I always do my homework before school too! I put it off! Today though I got my homework done in school! During class! Everything is so easy to me! And I'm in advanced classes so it's supposed to be harder!
