Anthony Fear said… There has been a lot of speculation recently about Steve Jobs (Apple CEO) health and his recent sick leave from Apple.
All kinds of wild rumours abound at the moment - from "Steve has six weeks to live' to 'Apple will die with Jobs'. Of course most of these , so called, headlines are simply to attract attention. But there is an underlying concern about Steve's departure from Apple.
I personally believe that if Steve has done his job properly - he will have prepared Apple to be able to function without him.
As a business owner myself, I am reminded of something I read a book a long time ago:
"if your business cannot function without you - you do not run your own business! You have a a job!"
So unless Steve was simply planning his own 'Second Coming' - he has spent the past few years not only releasing some of the finest consumer electronics ever, but he has spent some considerable time ensuring Apple will not only succeed after him, but will continue to thrive!
