Will the iPhone change my life? - 1

I've been very happy with my Samsung Blackjack II phone with WinMobile 6.0. However, as I attended more and more Tweetups, I realized that I was missing the ease of a touch device. I heard that the iPhone does this the best right now and it made me curious. Now that I am able to borrow one for a couple of months, we'll see what's with all the chatter over this Apple device. I really like the Shuffle, but I could care less about an iPod...my Zune was free and I really really like it. So that… Continue

New HTC hero to have flash

http://www.adobe.com/devnet/devices/articles/htchero.html

If you want to see how Flash runs on the HTC Hero, feel free to head over to Adobe where they've got a video look at how it all works. Overall, everything about Flash and Android looks pretty darn good--you can double tap to full screen flash videos, play flash-based games, and even access web pages that utilize Flash. For the video they played the trailer for Transformers 2 and utilized Expedia's Map feature (which is flash based).… Continue

My Uncle Ed McMahon Died at age 86

LOS ANGELES (AP) -- Ed McMahon, the loyal "Tonight Show" sidekick who bolstered boss Johnny Carson with guffaws and a resounding "H-e-e-e-e-e-ere's Johnny!" for 30 years, died early Tuesday. He was 86.

My favorite and last uncle has past away. He was the most wonderful uncle that you could ever have . He was my mothers brother Irene (McMahon) Baker . I remember when my mother past away in 2005 .Even though batteling two deaths… Continue

Is Social Media on it's way to becoming the norm?

In recent days we have all witnessed the power of Social Media, and what impact it has on our world. The protest in Iran is one such example of how sites like Twitter, Facebook and YouTube helped to get the word out. This new brand of media seems to carry far and wide the information that traditional media doesn’t.

By traditional media I mean news agencies such as FOXNews, CNN, MSNBC, etc. These agencies are independently owned and only voice the opinion of their higher ups. FOXNews… Continue

Twitter: The Sims of the Internet

I’ll admit that what I first heard about Twitter, I wasn’t really interested. I asked the usual question people ask when they hear about something new on the internet: “What’s the point?”

For a while now, I’ve wanted to write a blog post about Twitter, but there has been so much written about it already, that I didn’t want to bore my readers with the usual. So I began the pursuit of developing my thoughts from a different angle, and I ended up with the most unusual comparison: The… Continue

List of Single Processors from Fastest to Slowest.

This list is not a complete list of processors, but as thorough as I could get it for now (the top 620 processors). This list is as accurate at I can get it for now, and it is updated when I either get additional processors / benchmarks, changes or when others assist with additional information.

This list is only meant to be a general comparative chart to view and compare individual processors to each other, so when I get the frequent questions asked to me - Which one is the fastest… Continue

Well today when I was in school my teacher was using this program called Scratch and I was wondering what it was, so I found out it was an animation program for beginners, he was going to use it with the younger students in my school but if you wanna check it out here is the link - http://scratch.mit.edu/. When I download it and use it for a while there should be a review out soon.

Informative Blogging (Part 3): The Topic of Inspiration

There are many forms of writing out there. To encompass all of them in a single blog post, or any written work, is downright impossible to do without possessing some form of literary genius.

Many people, myself included, don’t have that kind of skill. What we do have, is an desire to write and a style that we prefer to use when we publish our thoughts casually.

While those two make up the cornerstones of mainstream blogging, there is a third component that is… Continue

New XBOX LIVE features coming soon!

Well there is going to be a lot of new features coming soon to XBOX LIVE such as Twitter, Facebook, Last FM and of course the best of all Sky TV which should be great.

I think that the Facebook feature is a bit useless but the Twitter interface and feature itself is a brilliant idea. Last FM I'm not a big fan of so I wont be using hat, but the biggest new feature of all is Sky TV letting you watch sport, movies and etc.

I think most of the features are coming in Autumn… Continue

Why Do People Insist on "Cleaning" Their Registry?

CCleaner is a dangerous program. NO registry cleaner is ’safe’. There is also no evidence that 'cleaning' out the registry has any effect on the overall speed of a PC. It will speed up searches within the registry, but that has no effect on performance.

There are a few misunderstandings about the Registry. People seem to think that cleaning the Registry will make the Registry smaller and easier to manage. Unfortunately it doesn’t work that way. What you are doing is creating… Continue

What I love about Geek boys and tips for all Geek boys from a Geek girl

I love Geeks. I love how you're passionate about the things you're into. I love it when you talk Geeky to me and when you have a strong handle on the English language. I love it when you can keep up with my banter, sarcasm, and play on words. And when you get my obscure Geek references. I love your brains and how intelligent you are...how contemplating the inner-workings of the mind is as normal as contemplating what to eat for lunch. I love how you love to learn. I love how you'll watch all of… Continue
