"The reasonable man adapts himself to the world;
the unreasonable man persists in trying to adapt the world to himself.
Therefore, all progress depends on the unreasonable man.

We all have parts of our lives that just don't work or are a constant struggle. For some it's neatness, for some being on time, and for others it may be staying on task. We try and… Continue

After Shane and I finished our A YEAR AT THE WHEEL travels it was suggested that we should be sharing our experiences for the benefit of others. We were referred to the interactive panels of the SXSW Festival, so we signed up to be a part of the 2010 event.
We are thrilled to share our knowledge and experiences with anyone willing to listen, and SXSW will help us reach a wider audience.
If you think people would benefit from our experience please take one quick moment to click the…

A car destined to die, bought for the price of pocket change. A route with a car-killer reputation. Four days filled with quirky assignments we swore we'd never do in public.
Currency we don't carry. Language we don't speak. A car on its last legs. A roadway with no mercy. A roadtrip with a difference……. recipe for disaster? Nope. It's a Banger…

...That dream which I dreamt,
Of living before I was born,
For then we played, and loved, and then.... slept,
Only to awake as something alive and torn,
Torn in two but what we did, yet didn't know.
So then we lived, dreaming of dying, hoping to live again,
Hoping to see each other,
We danced in the snow,
And laughed in the rain of spring,
We played in the leaves of a summer smothered'
Hoping to see each other while we still lived.

Facebook, MySpace, Geeks!, Google Docs, Gmail, Hotmail, Flickr, Online Banking - the list of services we rely on to keep our data and manage our digital life are endless. We live our lives online and we frequently need/want instant access to those pieces of our lives from wherever we're at, whatever device we're using. Smart phones, desktops at home, desktops at work, laptops, netbooks, the library - wherever we are, we want to be able to access our data and utilize the applications we rely…

Editor’s note: Apparently multinational corporations and governments will decide what information on the internet is “questionable.”
Developers of new web browsing software that flags questionable claims or outright lies on the web hope it will become a valuable tool to deal with the misinformation that litters the Internet.
But observers say Dispute Finder, an experimental browser extension developed by…

I joined Twitter- but only to assist my obsession with Misha Collins and all things related to Misha Collins, Supernatural, and fandom that is generally insane.
In other news, the LDP lost to the DPJ, making a change for Japanese political control for the first almost 6 decades- and that's of interest to me solely because 3 years ago, when my eldest nephew was born I was hiding in a corner of the room (my mom insisted I be there) ignoring the gore and new life to the side of me as…

Today I was assigned a task to create a small "under construction" website (I don't know why someone would actually hire someone to design one, but work is work) for someone who was starting a small business.
It took me 1.5 hours in iWeb (I didn't have anything else available). And I made $30 off it.
$20/hour for a 15 year old? In Estonia? Where the average is $7/hour?
Well, I'm happy for two reasons:
1) I can now pay my hosting bill
2) I can now have…

Some people have the dream of making an article directory or article blog a bit like lockergnome. One of the main ways to get that directory started off is to use the Unique Article Wizard which is a small plugin for blogs. People will submit there articles to UAW and the server will send the article to every blog with the plugin for quick and easy articles. It also creates an account for everyone so your blogging account stays safe. If you go to my site you may be able to see an example @…
