Why I refuse to buy Black Ops.

"Jimmy it is time for dinner!" "But mom I just got into a 10th prestige lobby, hold on!"

What do you think of when your hear Call of Duty? I think of cheaters, 10th prestige lobbies, and annoying 11 year olds. I think almost everyone can agree with this. And after Modern Warfare 2, I absolutely refuse to buy any Call of Duty game in the future. But there are more reasons for this, and I will share these reasons with you in the next few paragraphs.

Now I may not be speaking for… Continue

New iPod camera in the great Canadian Shield.

So I had to drive to Sudbury today which is getting rather North in Ontario to those who know their Canadian Geography, so I decided to take a few photos with my brand new iPod.

My new puppy Hally, she is the focal point of this picture.

Some bushes which are the focal point.…

Kryspy Kreme or Dunkin Donuts?

Growing up here in Chattanooga, Tn, I remember going to Kryspy Kreme on weekend mornings to get donuts. It was the only donut shop I knew about and was not introduced to any other franchise until I was an adult. I remember one year the local police department asked the Krispy Kreme to refrain from turning on the light that indicated donuts were being made during heavy traffic because people would slam on their brakes and cause an accident trying to get into the parking lot.

Just thoughts..I guess.

There's so much in this life I've learned to live without. So many memories. So many people. So many lifestyles I've been through that I've discarded and reused trying to find out who I want to be. I don't think any of us will ever be quite sure. I speak for at least myself when I say that there is nothing more confusing than life itself. Nothing more genuine, more real, nothing more painful, and nothing more beautiful. I kinda think the person you become has everything to do with the way you… Continue

iThink iHave iFever

I just snapped myself back to reality. I went out and bought a Magic Trackpad today. It was shiny and had an Apple on it. I brought it home, opened it, stared at it, and powered it on. It's completely pointless. I will never use this. Why did I buy this? Oh right it was sexy... At least Apple products have good resale value on eBay. Seriously though... I can't imagine I was in the right mind when I purchased this thing. I'm sure for some people it might be useful. It's a cool concept. I like… Continue

An open letter to "SEO Experts," Internet-wide.

On why greed is bad, and how it's going to lose us net neutrality.

Last week, my bro mentioned a job website for freelancers, said I might want to check it out.

So I did. And I signed up, and I bid on a job for moving a WordPress site and the guy and I exchanged five or six messages. His last message said…

Is the iPhone 4 Problem "Hurting" Apple?

Do you think that this whole antenna problem with the iPhone will hurt apple? When the iPhone 4 came out, people were expecting a whole new experience with the iPhone, which people did, but they were very disappointed in the way Apple designed the iPhone with the placement of the antenna. The antenna is located at the bottom of the phone in a place where it is easy to cover up. When you place your hand over that place, the signal indicator goes from five bars to zero.

With the signal… Continue

Fix The Zoom Button in Mac OS X

One of the things in Mac OS X that I have always wondered about is that little green zoom button next to the close and minimize buttons. I never have been able to figure out what it is supposed to do. For me, it seems like it does something completely different overtime I click it. I have to admit, as much as I prefer Mac over Windows, the maximize button in Windows is much more intuitive than the zoom button in OS X. Not to worry though, as with many other features in OS X, there is a way to… Continue

Why I'm Not Buying an iPad

The iPad has been flying off the shelves in most Apple stores over the last few weeks but what are people's reasons for buying one? All arguments aside it does look like a nice piece of hardware and is fun play about on but does the iPad have any real practical application?

At this point I would like to point out I don't own an iPad but I have played about on one.…

Liberals are the ultimate libertarians? (Just a quick idea)

Conservatives always keep on yelling “YOU LIBERALS WANT TO TAKE AWAY OUR FREEDOMS”...

But actually, when you think about it, then liberals must be the ultimate libertarians...

I’ll give you a couple of examples as to why I think so:

We are pro-choice, but very few of us think that the government should pay for abortions (unless it is life-threatening).
We are for gay marriage, since EQUAL rights…

All Species Evolved From Single Cell, Study Finds

Creationism called "absolutely horrible hypothesis"—statistically speaking.

All life on Earth evolved from a single-celled organism that lived roughly 3.5 billion years ago, a new study seems to confirm.

The study supports the widely held "universal common ancestor" theory first proposed by Charles Darwin more than 150 years ago.

Using computer models and statistical…

Dow down 1,000 points due to Europe debt fears.

Greece is collapsing from all its debt and gov. promises to people, and we are following the same road here in the US...Any one see a problem here ?!

And a final thought, for all of you who think that the conservatives / tea partys / libertairians are full of sh***t. Think about this, less than a year ago Ron Paul said Greece would have riots in the streets due to the debt and he was literally laughed at, and look what is happening.
