Apple "Authorised Service Centre" and burning Magsafe woes.

So, I'm sat down doing some University work with my Macbook Pro on it's stand with a keyboard connected, and I notice a feint smell of hot plastic, ignore it and assume it's outside. Few minutes later there's smoke coming from my Magsafe connector which I promptly pull out and find it's actually basically burnt itself out.

So you just get home from another 16 hour day, your 6th in a row. You grab some food, sit on the couch to start to decompress in front the TV, when the phone rings.

The importance of friendship.

Yesterday, I learned that after relationship, employment and other personal issues, a close friend of mine tried to take her own life.
