Recording Guitars In Pro Tools

Recently i have just bought a pair of M-Audio BX8A's they are awesome!! I love them so much, but in order for them to work, i needed to buy an Mbox. So  i bought one so i can hook up the speakers to it and i can also plug in my guitar directly into it or i can hook up a mic and record like that.
