Right away many may wonder "what would a blog about fruits, animals, and computers be about." Well, your initial thoughts are probably correct. We all know that there are computer companies named after fruits, and glass, but why would they choose these names?

We all remember the saying "an apple a day keeps the doctor away" that we heard as children. Is this statement true? Well, apples contain Vitamin C and we all know Vitamin C helps you fight off illness. Apples also prevent heart disease, are low in calories, prevent forms of cancer, prevent tooth decay, protects your brain from disease, and keep your lungs healthy. After reading this paragraph, do you feel the statement "an apple a day keeps the doctor away" is true?

There is a computer company we all have heard of named Apple. Why is Apple a fitting title for this company? First of all, Apple computers can keep the doctor (virus scan) away. We all know Apple computers are not entirely immune to viruses, but they prevent quite a few of them. Therefore, Apple is a fitting title for this reason, do you feel there are any other reasons? If so please provide those reasons in a comment below.

Every house and vehicle has windows. Windows provide adequate lighting for your house, yet provide a clear view of the beautiful world outside. Keep in mind windows are made of glass and therefore are breakable, but there are upgrades to windows such as bullet proof glass. How is this similar to the operating system we all know called Windows? Well, for one Windows gives you a beautiful operating system. When you look outside your window of your house, you see trees, the sky, grass, and many other beautiful things. Windows the operating system (depending on which version you use) has many themes and wallpapers that turn your desktop into a beautiful glance into nature. What else do you feel windows does that relates to its title?

Animals have many distinct characteristics. Some animals run faster than others, some have tails some do not, some spray a nasty odor when they are spooked. We all have probably heard of Apple's operating system called Tiger. The Tiger is a strong animal that can take down the majority of animals in the animal kingdom. A white bengal tiger can run up to 60 kilometers(or 37 miles) per hour. Leopards can run at speeds up to 40 miles per hour, they can leap over 20 feet horizontally, and 10 feet vertically. How can this relate to the operating systems Tiger and Leopard? Please comment with your input.

I must say your way of talking about operating systems is both comical, and insightful. Very well done. :)

Nice blog! I loved the nice comparisons with real life and OS'.
I really liked the part about the Tiger being able to take down other animals in the animal kingdom, because Tiger did bring down XP... at least, in my opinion!
