GIMP Tutorial - How to Cut Out Part of an Image

Many of you have used or seen Photoshop. GIMP is an opensource (free) image manipulation program. If you do not want to pay for Photoshop, or want something else check out GIMP. I will be doing a series of tutorials on how to use GIMP.

As always, give me your suggestions and comments. Also follow me on Twitter for the latest tech updates.

Thanks for the heads up. I have used Paint.net for a couple of years now and like. When I first tried GIMP it was hard to work with. There wasn't much in the way of help files. I am looking forward to your tutorials.

Great info. I have never worked with photoshop or gimp. This looks like something I might like to play with. I will follow you on youtube. :)
