I am sure that many of you have heard about Facebook addressing privacy concerns via new privacy controls which they plan to roll out over the next few weeks. Google has also decided to address the recent criticism over privacy concerns today by releasing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
The add-on, which currently is a BETA version, will allow users greater control over what information is collected by Goggle when users visit various websites. It is available for Internet Explorer (versions 7 and 8), Google Chrome (4.x and higher), and Mozilla Firefox (3.5 and higher).
Click on the appropriate hyperlink if you wish to learn more about Google Analytics or to download the Add-on.
Happy Browsing!
