Geek Out!

More Information

Where to begin,
They love technology, love pizza, love coffee and sit at there pc's or Mac's 24/7.
Indeed - they are called geeks. I myself am a geek... but sitting at you'r desk all day long isn't healthy is it? You become fat after a long time, i have gotten fatter, and i used to be in top shape.
Here's what to do.

1: If you like games and tech so much, get a WII - i've got the wii + wii fit and this stuff really works!
2: eat healthy snacks instead of chips and pizza.
3: if you drink coffee, drink it black - All the sugar in it isn't going to help...
4: Try to take brakes and go out for a walk. perhaps for a little jogg...
5: one thing i like to do is go to the gym, come home - open my laptop and relax.

What i am trying to say is... it's better to be a healthy geek.

Get some comfortable tennies or hiking boots and get out and walk.

If you have a gym membership you might try using it. When I had a gym membership I liked the orbital exerciser better than a treadmill.

I try to walk two or three miles every morning with my dog, Yogi, before it gets really hot. I also get away from the computer after an hour or so and work on one of my many projects. Usually, I put in two or three hours on the project before returning to the computer. I try to spend one to two days a week completely away from the computer. This was quite difficult at first, but it is getting easier all of the time. I make different kinds of salads to eat as snacks so that I am not eating a lot of sugar and other junk that I so dearly love! I won't comment on regular meals, because we all have lots of ideas about that. Right now this is my 'summer routine;' at least, for awhile. When I become bored, I will make a change. I believe the most important thing is to keep from getting bored.

Maybe I am just blessed w/ an amazing matabolism, but I sit at my desk almost ALL DAY, and have been doing so for several years. And I have only gotten a little thinner infact.

I think it just depends on the person lol.

During school year i have been known to have fries & pizza every day, and I am still by the time summer starts, just slightly under weight.

Being a competing bodybuilder in the past , I know how the process works and I have a app that activates breaks every 10 min for a minute and then a 10 minute break so that you can get up and walk around called Time Out . plus I do eat a lot better during my time on the computer So I am always striving to be a healthy geek
