someone plz help me i have a hp pavilion dv 5000 and when my battery is charges all the way it starts to draw from the battery insted of from the ac adaper and then the battery dies and i have to restart the computer and the ac adapter is brand new i have also changed the power modes many times and nothing workes wht would be causing this

Call HP Support ask them questions (if your machine is still under warranty or if you purchased the Extended Support contract.
