Many of you watch, play, and love sports. And to be more specific, many of you watch, play, and love football. Now this may just be my opinion, but I have seen a lot of BS calls while watching football lately, and I am tired of it. I have also seen referees abusing the power that they have and throwing a flag almost every play. Take the recent Iowa VS Arizona game for example. I am a Hawk fan, because I live in Iowa. And while watching that game Saturday night, I heard some penalties that I didn't even know were possible. Also, I saw some very questionable calls that were not reviewed. And I think its time that the technology is developed for football games to be partially, or hopefully someday completely refereed by computers. In tennis they have sensors and great technology to tell if a ball is out, so why do we not have that in football? With all the money that business is making (and I am talking NFL now) we could at least start to add some technology to aid the referees in running a game. You may argue that this would take away the fun of the game, but I will disagree with you. The fun of the game is ruined as soon as a bad flag is thrown, a questionable call is made, or a referee is biased against one team. So someone in the NFL, start working on this, because I think it would make football a more enjoyable sport to watch play and love.
