More Information

I'm trying to find funding to get broadband for my family and neighbors so they do not stay in this secluded area and not gain information and not just know video games and eat until they explode.
I have contacted AT&T along with Charter Communications. They just drive past my house looking at the utility poles and tell me that service is not available in my location. I'm reply with "Duh; no sh*t". I feel that the presidents stimulus package was squandered & just put in the big telecoms pockets. I'm ready to just say forget it and tell somebody that I just do not know what to do.......
Satellite is way too expensive and unreliable for internet access.I have also looked into the cell phone internet connection and am finding that if I walk 60 feet behind my house I can get a signal but yet bo signal in my home. *sigh* I am so frusrated at this point. Suggestions are welcome smart butt comments will result in increased blood pressure and a demonic attitude,

It's all about the all mighty dollar. If it is not cost effective for ATT, or any other company, to extend service, they will not do it. How many customers will the extension of service create? If the numbers do not add up to a profit and overcome the expense of adding new equipment, then your are out of luck.
