This child's name is Savannah Grace. She lives with me. This is the most rewarding and also, challenging thing that I have ever done in my life. As y'all can see, she is in my computer chair.
I had two sons but I was in my early twenties. It was a breeze. I think at the time that I still felt like a child myself. Now, that I am older, I do not feel like a kid. However, I am learning all over again what it is like to be a child.
My biggest thing is that I had two sons and the oldest son has four boys. My sister had boys too. I have never been exposed to a little girl. They are different. For one thing, they talk. I mean to say that they talk from the time they get out of bed until they go to sleep. Her favorite word lately is NO..........
Yep, she has discovered that she isn't attached to anyone and is her own little person. She even has a purse. I gave up putting many things in a purse years ago. However, I think that girls have it ingrained in them to have everything they own in their purse. It takes years to get over that and sometimes, women never do.
She has keys, a cell phone, money, little cards that she calls her credit cards and a million other things. When I plan to go shopping, she gets her purse and goes though it to to make sure she has all that she thinks she will need.
We can't even go outside to the swing without her taking either her backpack or purse. Oh dear. I had no clue that girls come into this world acting all girly. I thought we taught them to be girly.
Helping Nana in the flower and veggie garden.
"Nana, I see a bee."

Going outside to swing.

Nana, I am filing my nail with this Popsicle stick.

I am growing Nana.
Life around here is never boring. She keeps me entertained all of the time. Sometimes, I enjoy the entertainment and sometimes, I wish she would close the show and just take a nap. ha ha
