More Information

I live in a house with five other people and two of them people are under fourteen. And I wanted to make the internet safer and a more friendly place for kids. I changed a lot of setting on the router and added aloud of bad words and websites that could cause damage to the computer and to keep the children safe.

Quite a lot of router these days have a block sites and block serives from accessing the router. This is a great idea for people with kids that if your worried about them going on to a site that ain’t suitable for them. You can just add it to the list and protect your kids from aloud of dangers. There are a lot of program that would do this for you but they have aloud of problems like them blocking of the BBC problems Not working or simple blocking everything.

I would recommend the Net Gear WNR2000 I have had this router for a while and it has never let me down and is easy and simple to use and to add that important list of inappropriate sites.

Thanks for reading and please leave a comment and please put any comments that would help.

How do I import a blacklist to my router? I'm not being racist just would like to know how to build my filter list? Personally I use google tools and set surf zone to non-adult content. It won't take my 13 year old long to hack that.
