Marketing to Your Affection for the Dog
Do you think the dog knows what a Snuggie is? Do you think the dog cares? Evidently, there is a marketing firm that thinks that dog owners care enough to spend ten dollars for a Dog Snuggie:

In the tradition of P.T. Barnum [ "There's a sucker born every minute" ], undoubtedly some of these will sell. Even in a recession, there will be those who will think that the dog deserves only the best... even when it is not needed at all.

I would probably buy one for my dogs. That is just because I live in a drafty old house and have chihuahuas. They are prone to getting sick in cold weather. I don't dress them up to be cute. I go for lowering my vet bills.
