Then everything gone seriously wrong here. I loved to be a geek here, people could even understand what i was trying to tell them. Even if i would ask a question, within 10 minutes i would get an answer for it. I don't see that the website is going strong. I still want this back.

Comment by DTM on September 23, 2012 at 9:28am: I got here in December of 08. It was pretty active then, lots going on. By late 2009 it was pretty well peaked out, a hopping place that was enjoyable. I loved it here and spent hours a day with friends. By 2010 it began to decelerate, as trolls ruined the place with stupid discussions way off Geek topics, mostly political opinion and religious content. I got so tired of it I spun off and created my own Social Site in Sept 2010 and it's still moving along quite well today.

I became the most active member this place ever had, with 160,000 'points' and the title of "Uber Geek"

I have to say I did enjoy it here the first couple years, helping people and learning things as well. Unfortunately that seems to be all gone now.

The site graphical layout has been destroyed. There were never ads in those days, now its flooded with ads. It was turned from a Geek site where people could hang and talk tech, to something I dont recognize. Takes forever to load a page. I still participate if I can help someone out, but not very often anymore.

It's sad to see things this way.
