In a recent interview with Oprah Winfrey, the great magician/illusionist David Copperfield named 3P’s for success, and the first “P” is passion ( shared in Power of the “P” pt.1).

The second “P” is preparation.  Preparation is the education, the training, the development, the experience, the shadowing and the mentoring that is often times needed in order to compete in most industries.  One of the reasons Copperfield began teaching a magic course at New York University at the age of 16 was because he began preparing and perfecting his craft at 10 years old!

The question is what (or who) are you preparing for?  Are you perfecting your craft?  Are you developing your gift and abilities?
