I've been working for almost half year since I graduated from college. I love programmer job as well as technology stuff. As I can keep on working on program and forgot about my meal.
Okay, scraps the long story. Up until now, I finally found out that what programmer shouldn't do most of their time is talking nonsense, and wasting other's time as well. I've wasted almost 24 hours of my working time (as well as my life) listening to nonsense. Work can be done faster if one is not telling nonsense.
Secondly, a project really should be planned nicely before everything kicked off. Ad-hoc adding features and re-structuring the flow is a very terrible thing during development, and it wasted lots of the time. I'm not saying features can't be added, it can be added, in future but not the development.
Third, someone should just finished up one task/function(or whatever you called it) before proceeding to next task, not trying to do them all at a time! By doing everything simultaneously, things only get worse. Most of the tasks can't be completed on time. It's not only time consuming, it's also quite brain consuming.
And a programmer should never ever let the self-experience clouded the mind. Programmer should accept idea and suggestion. And if a programmer want to become the leader of the development team, he/she should really know how to lead, distribute task, check on progress, but NOT keep telling what bugs he/she just found out from the current system, or NOT keep teaching people should do thing in a proper way when he/she don't really know the system.
Gosshhhhhhhhhhhh....I really should avoid those, I don't want to become the programmer/person I've talking about!
