Seadragon for the iPhone released Today (Dec 13, 2008)

Apple released Seadragon, the highly acclaimed image viewer from Microsoft, today for the iPhone. Seadragon is the revolutionary image viewer which lets you zoom (basically as far as possible) in an image. You can play around with some demos here to get a feel of what the application will be like on the iPhone. Seadragon works by not worrying about such issues as bandwidth or data when viewing images. With this, scaling is almost perfect at all times; as you zoom into any photo, pixilation does not occur and the image transitions extremely smoothly. It allows users to navigate their photos without any hang time due to zooming, seamlessly and effortlessly. I'm excited they have released this application for the iPhone, as it only adds to the beauty of the device. Check it out, and download the application from the iTunes storehere.
