More Information

Search The Internet Using Windows 7 Start Menu Search.

The search function inside the Windows 7 Start Menu is a nice feature but it doesn't allow to search the internet. Actually it does but its disabled by default for some reason. To enable it you just have to edit a group policy. First go to your start menu and search for group policy. Click on edit group policy.

Then go to User Configuration-> Administrative Templates->Start Menu and Taskbar.

Then click Add Search Internet Link to Start Menu and click enable on the dialog box that pops up.
