Comment by Drake-san on May 13, 2010 at 10:03pm: I just downloaded the free Portal for mynew macbook pro i7 (17 inch matte screen, 8 gig), it works beautifully --be SURE to disable v-sync, though! smooths gameplay out tremendously without it....I am more of a console gamer (pretty much always have been, but really switched over hardcore when it began to be just too expensive and frustrating to keep up with the latest games), but I will use my macbook pro as a bit of a casual desktop gaming replacement, especially when Steam releases L4D2 and Counter-strike in a few weeks, not to mention Starcraft 2 this summer, of course :)
