Defense attorney John Jacobs died 3 years ago from pancreatic cancer, but he was buried with a fully charged Motorola T27 and with a full working version service that his wife pays for monthly. John Jacobs ’s wife Marian Seltzer said that “some people talk to God; I talk to my deceased husband.” Marian Seltzer also etched her husband’s cell phone number on the tombstone and she said “I call him now. If I’m happy. If I’m sad. And I think there are probably a good number of people who were very close to him who periodically call him.” So even though Marian Seltzer could save $55 dollars a month she decides not to but the cell phone will soon or later die.
