Imagine this, next morning at around 10:00AM you press the on button only to be greeted with clicking from your hard drive. Your heart stops for a second from this shock, but you calm yourself because nothing blatently has gone wrong. Yet. Then you get a BSOD (Assuming this computer has Windows). What would you do, would you just shrug and breath a sigh of relief that you backed up your information? Me, if it literally was next morning, I would be suicidal.
For some reason this week I've had a sudden worry of my hard drive failing, I just read that 'sooner or later, all hard drives crash.' This worry is infused with the fact that I realised that this week I broke the 300GB mark, and a friendof mine got a hard drive replaced from a failure. The reason why I haven't backed up yet is because I don't know what medium to back it up to, and I don't know what to back up itself. So I'm going to have to orgainse what are my life works, there are some files I haven't opened in years. Documents can be backed up online, all that's left is my After effects project files, videos and images.
So my question to you is, are you prepared for your apocalypse?
